Beautiful college campuses set the background for the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps. It’s here where boys and girls, ages 6 – 18, experience learning through a structured curriculum. Catering to all skill levels, our camps offer 5 1⁄2 – 6 hours of tennis daily.
Each camper receives personal attention, advanced teaching techniques, intensive drill work and game / match play, all in a fun and competitive environment.
Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps are the premier camps for young players who strive to learn the game, improve their skills and/or participate in middle school, high school, USTA team tennis or tournaments.
We break the campers into small instructional groups of similar age and ability so each child is working in a group that is commensurate with their experience level. We tailor each program to the level of the players. Beginners would get a heavier dose of swing technique and fundamen-tals, while more advanced players would have more focus on strategy, point building and percent-age tennis etc…

The camps are directed by the nations top college tennis coaches, handpicked for their ability to communicate and relate to young players of all skill levels. Leaders in their industry, these coaches have a dedication for teaching, motivating and building passion in young players.
Well rounded days with a comprehensive curriculum that progresses through the course of the week. Each camper will receive instruction on the fundamentals of all major strokes which will enhance their skills through repetition, ball-feeding drills, live-ball situations and competitive match play. In addition, campers will be exposed to team match play in singles and doubles.
These camps are excellent preparation for anyone interested in participating in middle school, high school or USTA team tennis, or preparing to compete in any USTA leagues and/or tournaments.

Our camps offer two distinct types of camp programs. Traditional camps are designed as a well-rounded, systematic instructional experiences with emphasis on stroke production and swing fundamentals, while our Elite Training Camps (http://www.wilsontenniscamps.com/elite-training-camps/ are for young players looking for for a more intense training camp experience and exposure to strategy and point building.
The Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps is where learning is organized, fun is emphasized and safety is prioritized.
TRADITIONAL CAMPS: Our traditional tennis camps (non match-play or college prep) are designed to focus on the fundamentals and swing techniques of the modern tennis strokes. Some of the areas of focus for each level include:
• Beginners: The beginning level player will be introduced to the basics of the game. Emphasis will be placed on stroke production and the technical aspects of the swing in an effort to teach these young players sound fundamentals from the ground up.
• Intermediate: Intermediate level players will also focus on fundamental stroke production (to ensure proper technique), but will also be in put into game play situations to introduce these players to the competitive side of the game.
• Advanced: The more advanced players will work with stroke production in a competitive environment, but will also be introduced to the basic strategies of the game.
• High School / Tournament: Varsity high school and tournament players will focus on the strategic and competitive aspects of the game. Although there will be attention spent on the stroke fundamentals, more emphasis will be placed on point progression, court positioning, patterns and sequences, percentage plays and live ball drill work.
ELITE TRAINING CAMPS: The Elite Training Camps are designed for players looking for a highly competitive experience, with an emphasis on match play strategies and point progressions. Campers will be exposed to many of the advanced teaching techniques and strategies featured on the nations top collegiate tennis programs.
The curriculum will include items such as offensive play, defensive play, alternative patterns and the role of footwork and balance. In addition, attention will be given to areas of doubles including traditional vs. alternative formations, aggressive net play, team movement and communication. The Elite camps will also include Match Play, with on court coaching from our staff to ensure that these techniques are being adopted and understood by each camper. It is the primary goal of the camp to teach the students ways to improve by understanding match play strategies and learning to play high percentage tennis.
