Wilson Comes to California
Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps is proud to announce our expansion to the west coast with three California locations opening this summer. Our camps at the University of San Diego (USD), University of Southern California (USC) and San Jose University will bring More Learning, More Coaching, More Training, and More Fun to the California camp scene.
The University of San Diego – Sunday, June 16 – Friday, June 21, 2013: Home of 2009’s NCAA Men’s National Champions, University of San Diego’s camp session will be directed by head men’s coach at USD, Coach Brett Masi. Throughout the week campers will enjoy 5.5-6 hours of tennis daily. Daily sessions will include work on fundamentals through repetition and drills in small instructional groups as well as competitive match play on camper teams.
Coach Masi and his Assistant Director Ross Wilson (USD’s Assistant Men’s Coach) will also provide teaching progressions on fundamental strokes and skills throughout the week. Camp at USD is an overnight camp with commuter options. Costs for overnight campers are $850 and $750 for commuters. University of Southern California – Sunday, July 21 – Friday, July 26, 2013: Boasting one of the most historic collegiate tennis facilities in the country, the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camp at the University of Southern California will take place in David X. Marks Tennis Stadium. Directed by the 2009 ITA West Region Assistant Coach of the Year West Nott, campers will be guided through 5.5-6 hours of tennis daily. Campers will polish their fundamental skills through repetition and drills in small instructional groups lead by college coaches and top college players selected by Coach Nott. Match play in team competition will give campers a chance to get competitive and apply their skills in singles and doubles.

San Jose University – Monday, June 10 – Friday, June 14, 2013 & Monday June 17- Friday June 21, 2013: the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camp at San Diego University is a day camp for players of all skill levels to enhance their fundamental skills and match play abilities. Lead by San Jose’s Head Women’s Coach Sylvain Malroux, campers will received 5.5-6 hours of tennis daily from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Playing time will be mixed between repetition and drilling with small instructional groups and competitive singles and doubles play with camper teams.
Coach Malroux’s handpicked staff of college coaches and top collegiate athletes will provide individual attention to each camper as they improve their skills throughout the week. Campers at San Jose University will also have access to Wilson’s unique demo program, with access to the latest Wilson rackets available to all campers. Camp at the San Jose University is a day camp and cost $500.
