We are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camp at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington! This exciting addition offers young tennis enthusiasts an exceptional opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Comprehensive Camp Options
Our University of Puget Sound camp offers flexible scheduling to accommodate various needs. Campers can choose between full-day and half-day programs:
- Session I: August 8-10, 2025
- Session II: August 11-15, 2025
- Session III: August 18-22, 2025
These options cater to players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, ensuring personalized attention and tailored instruction.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
Campers will train at the renowned Tennis Pavilion, which features six indoor tennis courts, providing a premier setting for players to hone their abilities regardless of weather conditions. The facility is recognized as one of the elite court surfaces in the Northwest Conference, ensuring a top-notch experience for all participants.
Expert Coaching and Engaging Activities
Under the leadership of Matt Simons, the Head Tennis Coach at the University of Puget Sound, campers will benefit from an exceptional coaching experience. Simons brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success. The 2024-25 season marked his seventh year leading the Puget Sound men’s and women’s tennis programs.
In his first year as head coach, Simons led the women’s team to a postseason berth in the Northwest Conference Tournament, with Lisa Owen and Nicole Bouche earning All-NWC honors. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Simons has a rich competitive history, including participation in the USTA Zone Team Championships and a collegiate career at Pacific Lutheran, where he advanced to the second round in both singles and doubles at the NAIA National Championships.
In addition to Simons’ leadership, the coaching staff at the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camp at Puget Sound is among the strongest and most respected in the nation. Comprised of top collegiate coaches and players, the staff is carefully selected for their ability to teach and inspire young players in a supportive, engaging, and professional environment.
Under the guidance of UPS Head Tennis Coach Matt Simons and his staff, campers will engage in:

- Game and match play
