Covid-Policy

POLICY:

*Updated November 2022:

Premier Sports Camps (PSC) will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines as set by the CDC, state, local and facility authorities.  Many of our camp COVID policies are determined by the host school or university and are outside of the control of PSC.

PSC will follow all COVID Safety Policies in place at the schools and universities hosting the camps, and these policies supersede any policy listed on this page. Guidelines and regulations are subject to change as we abide by local authority policies.

While we are taking every possible precaution, we cannot guarantee against exposure during camps. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. To ensure the safety of campers and staff, we ask all participants to comply with the following policies:

  • Mask Mandates: Premier Sports Camps will abide by state, local, and facility requirements for face coverings.
  • Vaccine Mandates: Premier Sports Camps will abide by state, local, and facility authorities in regards to vaccination. Some locations may require staff and/or campers to be vaccinated and boosted in order to participate in camp.
  • Quarantine: It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to be apprised of the camper’s health. Campers should not arrive to camp with COVID-19 symptoms, or if confirmed or suspected as having COVID-19 in the past ten days.
  • Personal sanitation: Staff and campers should wash hands frequently with soap and water, and are discouraged from sharing personal equipment and belongings to limit exposure.
  • Reporting: If a camper or staff exhibits symptoms and/or contracts COVID-19 during the camp or 5 days after, it is their responsibility to notify the Camp Director immediately. In the event of a confirmed COVID-19 case, campers and staff will be notified accordingly. If a camper reports symptoms during camp, they will be quarantined until the parent/guardian can pick them up from camp. The affected camper will not be able to return until a negative COVID-19 test result is confirmed, or a note from a doctor is provided stating symptoms were unrelated to COVID-19. (Exact procedure is subject to state, local, and facility guidelines)
  • Cancellation Protection: In light of unplanned illness, we encourage all campers to purchase cancellation insurance for peace of mind and investment protection in the midst of unfortunate circumstances.
  • COVID-19 Waiver: Campers and staff maybe required to complete an additional waiver in regard to COVID-19 policies.
While we cannot guarantee a COVID-free environment, we will take every precaution to make your camper’s experience as safe and enjoyable as possible. We recommend that you visit the CDC website for further recommendations with regard to COVID-19.
