Summer Camps provide countless learning experiences, many that can’t be taught at home or at school.
Camps provide opportunities that allow campers to develop confidence and independence by having new challenges placed before them. Typically, this growth develops when campers are on their own, often for the first time, away from their normal routines. The Wilson Collegiate Tennis camps provide an “away from home,” and/or an “out of comfort zone” safe atmosphere that will allow your child to grow as they encounter these new and exciting experiences.
Campers will experience all of this under the watchful eye of a supportive camp staff, which will allow them to grow and become more comfortable as they gain this newfound independence. One important aspect of our overnight camps are our social actives held off-court. These are typically events that are both an engaging and relatable “fun-time” for all.
Overnight and Day campers alike at the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps will also gain confidence and self esteem in their tennis game. Small group instruction as well as a friendly and encouraging staff enhances their ability to see, hear and read first hand about their improvement on the court. Our small group settings can allow for those “quieter” campers to feel comfortable around their peers, allowing them the confidence to share ideas or spark new friendships. They will spend 5.5-6 hours of tennis on court each day that will provide the young players with a fun, yet challenging learning environment.
