The University of Southern California Women’s Tennis Team is excited to announce a series of new 1-day Elite Tennis camps this winter.

The USC Elite Training Camps are a one-of-a-kind series hosted at the University of Southern California (USC). Directed by USC Head Women’s Coach Alison Swain and her hand-picked coaching staff, these camps are 1-day camps that focus on a particular part of the camp. Unique curriculums and match play are the hallmarks of all our Elite Training Camps at USC.

The First Four Shots (0-4): November 16 TO November 23: Our brand new First Four shots camp will introduce kids to the importance of the first four shots of each point. The Serve, Return of Serve, Serve +1 (first shot after the serve by the server) and the Return + 1 ( first shot by the returner following their initial return) will all be emphasized.

Players will learn the advance statistics that rule Junior, College and Pro tennis. Off-court seminars and UTR Matchplay will round out this camp.

HIT CAMP (High-Intensity Training) Monday, January 20, 2020 (MLK Day): Our High-Intensity Training Camp will expose young players to the practice techniques and pace feature on college campuses. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the importance of practice pace, intensity and focus. Footwork, balance, and energy – “the intangibles” will be emphasized throughout the camp. Off-court seminars and UTR Matchplay will round out this camp.
